Swirl is a new social media app that allows you to connect with your community on a whole new level!

Swirl presents the opportunity to connect with people within a particular location.

You can create location-based chat rooms called Lobbies. Using a geo-fence, a host can create either a "House Party," "Block Party," or "Event" location radius. Anyone within the location radius of a chat room can participate in a Lobby.

Engage and chat about your rival sports team, point others to the best food spot, or share pictures of you rocking out at a concert. You can also apply tags to your messages so others can filter on them!

While a Lobby is visible on a map to everyone, only those within the location radius will be able to join, participate, or see the contents of a Lobby.

If you arrive at a location first and create a Lobby for an event, you will be the host of that Lobby. SWIRL does not allow competing Lobbies within the same area. In other words, no overlapping lobbies are allowed.

Once all participants leave the location radius, the Lobby will automatically delete within 5 minutes. A Lobby can continue even if the host leaves! In the end, all chat and participant information will also be deleted.
